~~~ NOTE FROM CHRIS: ~~~
The Queen Mary 2 is the world's largest, longest,
widest, tallest and most expensive passenger liner.
The ship weighs 151,500 tons, is over four city
blocks long and cost nearly a billion dollars.
That's the good news. The bad? The entire bridge system
of the ship is controlled by PCs running Windows NT 4.0.
The Top 5 Features of the Queen Mary 2 Running Windows
- If it runs aground, a quick CTRL+SHIFT displays a dummy spreadsheet in all the viewing portholes.
- The ship's figurehead? A bare-breasted Bill Gates.
- Any 14-year old with a DSL connection and a Linux box can easily force the ship to turn donuts in the North Atlantic.
- All crewmen entering the bridge must give a three-fingered salute.
and the Number 1 Feature of the Queen Mary 2 Running Windows...
- Everything pretty much looks like the cruise you took in '92 on the S.S. Macintosh.
