The Top 5 Surprises in Mission: Impossible III
- Turns out the "impossible mission" involves Tom Cruise regaining his dignity and saving a career that's on life-support.
- "Hunt, agent Shields has recently given birth and is susceptible to post-partum depression. You and you alone can save her. In your case, you will find chamomile tea and a copy of 'Dianetics'...."
- Theater concession stands selling placenta strips.
- The jumping-off-the-building scene is okay, but the swimming pool stunt in which Ethan Hunt "goes off the deep end" is a bit too close to real life.
and the Number 1 Surprise in Mission: Impossible III...
- Eight-figure special effects budget spent largely on the love scenes. It took a team of 120 technicians and digital artists working non-stop for over a year to complete the scenes of breathtakingly realistic heterosexual interaction.
