"Wheel of Fortune" Too Long
- Bob Barker calls me "Sir."
- I'm unable to get into my car until our announcer, Charlie O'Donnell, describes it and gives the manufacturer's suggested retail price.
- I find myself thinking about which kind of wood is best for whittling.
- When players ask for a letter that was already called, I have to fight harder than ever the urge to go over and kidney-punch them.
- When I stare at the wheel when it's spinning, I can see the faces of The Monkees.
- I'm beginning to be tempted to slit the throats of people who come up to me and ask, "Hey, Pat, can I buy a vowel?"
- When I say that Vanna has "a great pair", I'm referring to her reading glasses.
- During my annual physical, I keep thinking that my doctor is asking me about "regular vowel movements."
- People on Social Security are starting to say that they've enjoyed watching me since they were kids.
- I often sit around at home naked, watching old tapes of "Wheel" with a picture-in-picture insert of Emeril's Food Channel show.
