Brian Copeland

Brian Copeland has been working in the entertainment industry as a performer and a
producer for the last decade. A native Californian, he is currently the host
of the on-the-scene interview segments on San Francisco television station KTVU's
Mornings On 2 and commentator on The Noon News.
A nationally
known stand-up comedian, Brian won the Monterey Laff-Off in 1988 and the Cabaret
Gold Award for Best Comic in 1989, and Frisco Magazine named him "Best and
Brightest of the Bay" in 1992. He appeared on NBC's Friday Night Videos,
in MC Hammer's video, Here Comes the Hammer, and the independent film,
The Adventures of Babyman.
Brian has also appeared as a stand-up
comic on A&E's An Evening At The Improv, John Byner's Comedy On The
Road, and MTV's Half Hour Comedy Hour. In addition, he's been the
opening act for stars such as Natalie Cole, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Steve
Allen, Dana Carvey, Dionne Warwick, Gregory Hines, and Manhattan Transfer.
