Where do we start? Phil Proctor has received international recognition as an actor,
singer, writer, composer, director and producer. He's been honored with a Theatre
World award, cited as Best Actor by the LA Free Press, and received a Grammy
nomination as a member of The Firesign Theatre,
who were chosen as one of the "Fifty Greatest Acts of All Time" by
Entertainment Magazine. They have just produced their first new album in 17 years,
Give Me Immortality or Give Me Death, released on September 8th by Rhino Records.
On screen, he's appeared with Orson Welles, Jack Nicholson, Tony Curtis and Jerry Lewis
and on TV has guest-starred on Over The Top, Men Behaving Badly,
Dave's World, Brotherly Love, Nightcourt, Fresh Prince of
Bel-Air and General Hospital, to name just a few. His voice can be heard
as the drunken French Monkey in Dr. Doolittle, Snowball the cat in Walt
Disney's Hercules, in A Bug's Life, The Hunchback of Notre Dame,
Toy Story, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King,
Rescuers Down Under, and in and the upcoming Prince of Egypt.
Phil also plays "Howard" on Nickleodeon's two-time Emmy-award winner
Rugrats (now a movie), the villainous son of the Red Skull on
Spiderman, the Chief Bushrat in Taz-Mania, King Gerard on H-B's
Smurfs, and did four seasons on Fox-TV's The Tic and Where on
Earth is Carmen Sandiego. As a singer, he's rapmaster Vinnie Goomba on the
Laurie Records novelty single Rappadis, and a soloist on Disney's
Pocahontas II, and Knowledgeopolis' Here Come the Appha Bets!
