Chuck Smith
accepts with bells on the honor of being chosen for the Hall of Fame. Where he has the bells on his person, however, must remain his secret. He considers himself a humorist and has a business card saying just that to prove it. He's done a little acting, twice appearing on the TV show "Homicide" as a dead body. Next time, he wants to move up to play someone in a coma. He does a little gagwriting for a few comic strips, twice getting laxative jokes into national print. He wants to thank the little people for this honor. He doesn't know where he would be today without Darby O'Gill and Herve V.
Inducted in 1997
