Originally from Atlanta, Ga., he attended and works at that bastian of humor and creativity - The Citadel. When not producing the college's publications, he enjoys theatre, travel, tv (don't make him miss Melrose), tranquilizers and "some other stuff that starts with a 'T'".  He will celebrate his 40th Birthday in August '96 with an evening of Metamucil, Depends, Efferdent and "crankin' up a brand-spanking new hearing aid."  Sam is also the TFL's resident movie star -- he is a featured extra in a film you may have heard of called, Forrest Gump (Look for him as one of the reporters following Forrest across the bridge during his cross-country run -- Sam is the one with black horned-rimmed glasses and sideburns.).
