Dennis Koho,
TopFive's resident political hack, holds the record for the
longest time spent as a contributor before entering the Hall of Fame.
Although he's been a contributor since the spring of 1994, his biggest
claim to fame probably is that he didn't have a damn thing to do with the
Hurricane List.
Koho was elected to three terms as mayor of Keizer, Oregon. He's not
positive, but he thinks his association with Top Five helped. He won his
last term on the strength of a single campaign promise -– that the third
term would be his last. Having fulfilled that promise, and unable to hold
a job, he entered law school in the fall of 2001. Yes, he is too old for
that, but the school took pity on him.
